Scroll pumps generate gas flow with their high-speed rotating edges, suitable for high vacuum ranges. Centrifugal pumps, on the other hand, discharge gas out of the system through centrifugal force, suitable for low vacuum ranges near atmospheric pressure.

When using a vacuum pump, there are some key issues to pay attention to. First, the sealing performance of the pump is very important to ensure that gas does not leak back into the system. Second, the operating temperature of the pump and the choice of lubricating oil also have an important impact on performance and life.
